Human Capital Management plays a critical role in managing the firm’s most important asset, its people. HCM is responsible for a broad range of activities, including identifying and recruiting the best talent and partnering with managers to retain, develop and motivate our people to help them reach their full potential.
As a member of the HCM team, you will be assisting the HR Manager and cover a wide range of responsibilities for the Swiss Bank employees based in Zurich and Geneva. This role is a 1.5 years fixed term employment contract.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Recruitment assistance, contacting agencies, coordinating interviews, handling rejections
Managing temporary employees and campus hires
Issuing employee reference letters
Preparing employment contracts
Advising employees on local benefits
Organising local training programs
Managing vacation days and absence tracking of employees (entering sick leaves, injury leaves, liasion with company insurances)
Processing employee data changes (address changes, marriage)
Support in international relocation of employees (handling work permit issues)
Issuing certificates of employment and invitation letters
Processing invoices
Managing employee’s tenure
Processing incoming mail and maintaining employee files (filing and year end archiving)
Assistance with daily business and general administrational tasks
Reporting on HCM statistics
Working on projects and local events
SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
Commercial apprenticeship or equivalent education
Further education as HR Assistant (e.g. Personalassistent/in)
Experience in Human Resources ideally in an international and banking environment
Fluency in German and English are essential, French is an advantage
Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
Strong desire to learn and to work in a team oriented environment
Attention to detail and a commitment to excellence along with a capability of multi-tasking in a
fast-paced environment
Strong oral and written communication skills
Proficient in MS Office
