The Global Mobility Services (GMS) assists and supports employees and their families when relocating to a Goldman Sachs office. A major focus of the role will include project management related responsibilities. This role requires the ability to work in a fast paced environment with a strong focus on analytical skills, client-service, problem solving, proactively resolving issues and attention to detail.
HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
Working in the Global Mobility Services (“GMS”) team, this role is based in Jersey City. You will work closely with GMS teams and vendors onsite in Bangalore, London, Jersey City, Hong Kong, and Salt Lake City. The role will support various activities including project management, vendor management, documentation maintenance, policy and process design, PowerPoint presentation preparation, data/cost analysis, and reporting.
• Participate in and support strategic projects; data analysis, reporting and metrics
• Manage project plans, draft stakeholder communications/materials
• Liaise with GS Technology and mobility vendors as appropriate
• Coordinate and support policy/documentation changes/decisions and updates; track policy suggestions and coordinate analysis/impact, as needed
• Support process mapping/documentation exercises and internal communication updates (e.g. policy documents, online tools, macros, assignment memos, etc.)
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree
• One to three years of office experience preferred
• Strong analytical skills and highly detail-oriented
• Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and strong Excel and PowerPoint)
• Excited to be part of a global team operating across various time zones and ability to work independently
• Flexibility to work across multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities
• Ability to analyze data and make judgments based on GS policies and standards
• Highly inquisitive and enthusiastic team player; personal experience living abroad helpful
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to handle confidential information
• Experience with mobility or international assignments preferred
• Curious and quick to learn technology systems
