Corporate Services and Real Estate (CSRE) acquires, develops and manages the firm’s global real estate portfolio and delivers innovative and commercially managed market development, document management and hospitality related services.
 Business Services delivers high-quality, commercially managed services to internal partners throughout the firm.
 Real Estate plans, builds and operates the firm's facilities worldwide, and is critical to ensuring that our core businesses operate efficiently 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
 Finance, comprised of regionally based teams and a central hub in Bangalore, India, provides financial analysis, decision support, procurement, contract administration and reporting for all initiatives within the Services Division and for business partners across the firm.
 Vendor Management Office ensures that the firm has established and is consistently applying a structured global framework to effectively manage vendor risk.
 Administration, Communications, and Environment and Social Governance oversee organizational development, internal and client communications and environmental, social and governance commitments.

This role will manage the Bengaluru ground transportation program, and will be responsible for providing operational efficiencies and driving commercial effectiveness within this area. This individual will own the relationships with the key client groups and merge business requirements with strategic objectives. This role will report to the Bengaluru Ground Transportation Manager locally and functionally.

Responsibilities

• Support the business manager in development of the Bengaluru travel & ground transportation strategy in line with regional and global direction to ensure the effective delivery of the various services to meet our future business requirements
• Manage day-to-day Bengaluru Ground Transportation operations at a functional level
• Build strong working relationships, and engage with all stakeholders to drive the business strategy at a macro level
• Client focus, managing and exceeding expectations by continuously enhancing service levels.
• Refine processes, formulate standard operating procedures and carry out periodic assessment, review and improvements
• Risk management and control through audits, compliance and other governance initiatives
• Budgeting, expense management and financial due diligence
• Ensure commercial effectiveness by optimizing resources, reducing wastage, cost avoidance and ensuring billings to the Firm are correct.
• Vendor Relationship Owner for India travel related suppliers
• Manage vendor relationships to ensure contractual obligations, KPIs and SLAs are met
• Proactively liaise with internal stakeholders to advance commercial and operational objectives and efficiency

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum 6-8 years of which 3-4 years of operations experience in a leadership role, preferably with prior experience in transport operations

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to challenge the status quo and seek dynamic operational, strategic and commercial solutions
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining high quality standards
• Strong communication skills to build and maintain relationships with clients at all levels and vendor population
• Strong influencing and commercial skills
• Good analytical ability, and proactive approach to problem solving
• Ability to lead and drive projects  
• Should be able to draft, understand and interpret contract documents
• Prior experience with P&L responsibilities will be an added advantage
• Dynamic, self-motivated and willing to accept challenges
• Good computer skills and working knowledge of MS office (word, excel, power point, outlook)
