Job Summary & Responsibilities
Corporate Services and Real Estate – aspiring to deliver the world’s best workplace to the people of Goldman Sachs.
Corporate Services and Real Estate (CSRE) acquires, develops and manages the firm’s global real estate portfolio and delivers innovative and commercially managed travel, document management and hospitality related services.
CSRE’s areas of responsibility are:
Business Services: Delivers high-quality, commercially managed travel, document management and hospitality services to internal partners throughout the firm.
Real Estate: Plans, builds and operates the firm's facilities in over 95 cities worldwide, and is critical to ensuring that our core businesses operate efficiently 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Finance: Provides financial analysis, decision support, procurement, contract administration and reporting for all initiatives within the Services Division and for business partners across the firm.
Vendor Management Office: Ensures that the firm has established and is consistently applying a structured global framework to effectively manage vendor risk.
Administration, Communications and Social Governance: Oversee organizational development, internal communications, environmental stewardship, supplier diversity and community engagement.
Responsibility:
• Relevant work experience gained through internship / part-time experience is an advantage
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Fluency in Japanese or another Asian language an advantage
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work in a dynamic global environment with a focus on teamwork
• A proactive approach and a high level of enthusiasm
• Ability to work in shifts and meet aggressive deadlines.
• Proficient with the suite of Microsoft Office and ACAD software
• Candidate must be technically competent, with excellent problem solving, analytical, and managerial skills.
• Candidate must have good interpersonal and communication skills
Basic Qualifications
• Undergraduate or master’s degree with relevant coursework in engineering, building / property / facility management, or other relevant under / post graduate studies
Preferred Qualifications
• Maintain, operate and repair : HVAC systems, electrical and its distribution systems, UPS systems , captive generators , plumbing systems and other equipment's pertaining to the facility .
• Support the site teams in all emergencies. Follow & ensure the required escalation processes.
• Plan visits to all the Critical areas and prepare action points & drive them for implementation.
• Check out the pending complaints & plan for closure of the issues.
• Study and become familiar with the various equipment's installed on the facility , their operations and maintenance
• Assist in reviewing critical systems strategy to meet the firm’s business requirement
• Ensure the critical MEP infrastructure supporting business operations is operated and maintained to the highest standards of reliability, efficiency and in accordance with the firm’s global engineering policies and procedures.
• Support management of the Critical Systems Engineering team and service providers in India to drive consistency, roll out global & regional initiatives, identify opportunities to enhance reliability and minimize risk. Take necessary action to improve the resiliency and reliability of the systems
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of infrastructure capacity, and overall operational performance using the Firm’s standardized reporting processes.
• Assist in managing the annual operations .

• Develop and implement a facility management program including preventive maintenance and life-cycle replacement. Support maintenance, upkeep and reconditioning programs for all Goldman Sachs offices India. Ensure delivery schedules, quantity and quality criteria are met and submit critical maintenance reports (UPS batteries, IAQ, water etc.)..Ensure that the team follows the safety standards while working on PPMs & reactive maintenances.
• Manage contractor and vendor relationship. Evaluate vendors and suppliers on a regular basis with regard to quality of service being provided
• Generate and present regular reports and reviews of Critical Systems Engineering, related budget, contracts, expenditures and purchases.
• Reviews the PPMs scheduled to actual completed on a regular basis & put an action plan to include the missed events. Monitor critical spares inventory throughout the year.
• Prepare and track skill matrix of the engineering teams & identify the gaps in performance. Make a training calendar to address the performance gaps.
• Train the technical team on the procedures & processes. Ensure the team follows laid down process
• Manage and execute sustainment and life cycle replacement projects
• Ensure that the facilities meet government regulations ,environmental and health standards
(Monitor and track the regulatory requirement like air consent, water consent, and hazardous waste disposal etc and interacts with stakeholders for its renewals)
