Sustainable Property Design Specialist

Job description

We are currently seeking someone who has an interest in the sustainable design solutions/methodologies, that can be implemented within new build housing developments (UK).

Your role will be to support and work with the Managing Director.

*KEY FUNCTION:
1) Source energy efficient build methodologies that are also commercially viable - can be used to build residential homes (UK).
2) Critique (pre-design works done) on current opportunities the company is working on

ABOUT US:
UK Impact Investments (UKii) is start-up that is focused on building; affordable, energy efficient Homes, across the UK.

The following characteristics are required of the candidate:
- Knowledge of sustainable design, ideally a degree related to sustainability in architecture.
- Research Skills
- Ability to manage multiple task and prioritise work load
- Diligent worker with attention to detail
- Demonstrated self-starter, with the confidence to work efficiently.
- Team player, with a friendly manner, pro-active and independent
- Fluency in written English.
- interest in understanding of Real Estate/or Investment/finance

Potential future career opportunity.

Travel expenses covered for days of work (within London). Based on working hours of 10am – 6pm for 3-6months period. We are looking for someone who can commit to at least 2-4 days per week although we are open to negotiation.
