Glenview Private Care Home is approached by its own driveway, conveniently set back from all main roads, but, centrally situated and convenient to Portadown, Craigavon, Lurgan, Banbridge, Gilford and Tandragee. The Home is situated on a mature site of 13 acres in a quiet and pleasant rural setting.

Glenview offers the best in Nursing care and under the personal supervision of the Home Manager, offers individual care and attention and caters for long or short term medical and surgical convalescent patients, the terminally ill and the elderly. Both day-care and constant 24 hour nursing service is provided.

The home will provide twenty four-hour holistic care for forty elderly Patients and aims to offer individual care attention.

Desired profile

A position has become available for a Nurse Manager. The successful applicant will be placed in one of two Nursing Homes owned by the Breen Family i.e. Glenview Private Care Home or St. Francis Private Nursing Home.

As the Home Manager you are responsible for managing the business. You will lead and motivate your team ensuring we maintain the high quality of care to progress the Home into the 21st Century.

• Is a first level nurse with current registration on Part 1 of the NMC Register.

• Would suit a Deputy Manager or Sister looking for their next step up the career ladder.

• Has at least 2 years experience, within the last 5 years, in a similar care setting providing nursing care to the main client group accommodated within the home.

• Ideally has a management qualification or be prepared to undertake Management Training.

• Computer literate.

• Hold a current full driving licence valid in UK with access to a car on appointment. These criteria will be waived in the case of an applicant whose disability prohibits driving but who is able to organise suitable alternative arrangements.

• Needs to be flexible and be prepared to take on Staff Nurse Duties from time to time.

• Very competitive salary (negotiable).

Good command of the English language both written and spoken.
