Glasdon originated in Blackpool and as a result of our export success we now have additional offices in Lille (France), Gothenburg (Sweden) and Virginia (USA).

Within Glasdon, the Online Marketing Department supports all subsidiary companies within the UK, throughout Europe and the USA. We are currently looking to recruit an additional member to strengthen the team.

As an integral part of the digital marketing team, you will be responsible for all areas of digital marketing, which will include:

  • Writing informative and effective search engine optimised copy for the website and external blog postings
  • Overseeing PPC campaigns, monitoring their performance and ROI.
  • Developing and managing the Company’s email marketing campaigns.
  • Managing the Company’s social media accounts, ensuring all copy is relevant for the different platforms.
  • Keeping up to date with SEO changes and advances in social media and advising on new channels and approaches to adopt.
  • The collating and monthly reporting of performance statistics for digital communications, across all channels. Using these statistics to influence future digital activity.


Skills / Qualifications Required:

  • Candidates should have attained a minimum 2.1 classification in a Business, Marketing or Digital Marketing degree, with strong 'A’ level results.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills. Content creation is dependent on this and it will form a significant part of the role.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • A 'Can do' attitude - you will work across a large array of areas over time and tackling them all with enthusiasm is a must.
  • IT literate.


Beneficial Skills but Not Essential:

  • Previous experience with SEO & PPC campaigns.
  • Some understanding of HTML.
  • Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator experience.
  • European Language Skills.


The general Company policy is one of long term, controlled growth and security. The salary offered will be compatible with such policy as are the current benefits offered of Final Salary Pension Scheme and Private Medical Care.

The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 9.00 am - 5.00 pm.
