Job description
We are looking for an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO). The ISSO's primary function is to assist the sites in all aspects of cybersecurity. The ISSO will research, develop, implement, test and review an organization's information security in order to protect information and prevent unauthorized access. Officers inform users about security measures, explain potential threats, install software, implement security measures and monitor networks.
Your mission
· direct and approve the design of security systems
· ensure that disaster recovery and business continuity plans are in place and tested
· review and approve security policies, controls and cyber incident response planning
· approve identity and access policies
· review investigations after breaches or incidents, including impact analysis and recommendations for avoiding similar vulnerabilities
· maintain a current understanding the IT and ICS threat landscape for the industry
· ensure compliance with the changing laws and applicable regulations
· translate that knowledge to identification of risks and actionable plans to protect the business
· schedule periodic security audits
· oversee identity and access management
· make sure that cyber security policies and procedures are communicated to all personnel and that compliance is enforced
· manage all teams, employees, contractors and vendors involved in IT security, which may include hiring
· provide training and mentoring to security team members
· constantly update the cyber security strategy to leverage new technology and threat information
· brief the executive team on status and risks, including taking the role of champion for the overall strategy and necessary budget
· communicate best practices and risks to all parts of the business, outside IT
· meet and coordinate with all local stakeholders and security SPOCS

Qualifications :
Your profile
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (4 years) in (field mathematics, telecommunications, electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science) or related discipline, and two to four years related experience or Certification in systems administrator, network certification, etc. six to eight years of experience
· certifications:
· CISM: Certified Information Security Manager
· CISSP: Certified Information Systems Security Professional
· GSEC: SANS GIAC Security Essentials
· or willing to become so within the first three years
· security clearance:
· Nuclear Secret Clearance or eligibility
· must be familiar with current security policy/manuals
· must have the ability to work in a dynamic environment and effectively interact with pant personnel and management
· working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
· possess a high degree of originality, creativity, initiative requiring minimal supervision
