Mission:
Working within the Geodis SCO Engineering team which is responsible to design or optimize Supply chain solutions for new business and existing Geodis customers.
The focus on this position will be :
- to work closely with sales and business development to design a solution focusing on a re-engineered supply chain ;
- these projects can and will include: Network Design, Lean Projects, Supply Chain Diagnosis, Sourcing Strategy, RFQ Handling ;
- the applicant will report directly to the SCO Engineering team but work closely with Business Development executives, procurement, finance, and legal.
Profile:
You are experienced in responding in customer tenders and being in front of customers. You have skills like Project Management skills and language skills is a plus (Spanish and French). You are willing to travel (estimated 33% of days traveling).
As an education background, you justify of a Bachelor’s degree focusing on engineering and supply chain.
You are familiar and experiences with :
Supply Chain Analytics, Solution Design tools (Network Design and Optimization: Llamasoft), Lean & Reengineering Methodologies (VSM, 5D, 5S…), Supply Chain tools (TMS, WMS, Order Management, Workflow Management, Solution Design in transportation, warehousing and Supply Chain consulting.
This offer concerns a VIE for an 18 months’ mission, in Mechanicsburg, PA (USA).
