Regional Health & Safety Manager (m/f/x)

Job description

For the GEODIS EUROPE Headquarters in Frankfurt am Main, we are looking for a Regional Health & Safety Manager!

A variety of tasks are waiting for you, amongst others:

• Ensuring the Group's Health and Safety Policy is applied correctly in the Region,
• Updating occupational health and safety risk maps in collaboration with Country H&S Responsibles,
• Coordinating the implementation of risk prevention and management policies, as well as accident and crisis management processes,
• Defining concrete action plans with the spirit of continuous improvement (organization, technical solutions, tools, etc) and ensuring these actions are completed in a timely manner by the countries,
• Proposing KPIs to Regional Management and tracking those KPIs, and presenting the performance of the Region to the Management in Region & Group level,
• Coordinating certification processes decided by Group and Region,
• Developing and coaching all leaders/employees in the Region to be a flag carrier of health and safety rules,
• Searching for better practices through H&S Network.

You bring along:

• Master's or Bachelor's Degree on a related field, an engineering background would be a plus,
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in the above-described tasks, preferably in an international/regional scale within the logistics industry,
• Experience with standards like ISO 45001 is considered as a plus,
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications,
• Interest to manage and resolve challenges and boost transformation,
• Excellent analytical skills and expert in communicating with diverse background of people,
• Strong passion to be an advocator for health and safety rules,
• Fluent in English and German, Italian would be considered as a plus,
• Willing to travel.
