Role Summary/Purpose
The VCP Project Leader is a key position within the GE Healthcare Global Services team. The successful candidate is expected to demonstrate strong leadership skills by working closely with service leaders, region leaders, sourcing, GSPO, and modality engineering to drive productivity program execution.
Essential Responsibilities
• Assists in the selection of targeted productivity projects and coordinating overall activity to deliver cost saving measures in a timely and efficient manner.
• Analyze potential productivity projects and develop business cases demonstrating viability.
• Responsible for working within small to mid-sized cross-functional team setting to achieve product manufacturability, serviceability, safety and quality improvement goals.
• Engaging in all phases of project development and design change, including concept, documentation, design, prototype, test, supplier interfaces, manufacturing and service introduction.
• Ensuring project delivery through partnerships with modalities, support functions and field service relationships.
• Work independently to complete and execute project tasks with minimal oversight.
Qualifications/Requirements
1. Bachelors or equivalent technical field experience; or equivalent (defined as High School Diploma/GED and 4 years progressive experience in a technical field or project management.)
2. 3 years experience in cross-functional product development / integration, product support, or project management.
3. Ability to work effectively across functions to deliver results and execute multiple commitments within the Global Environment.
4. Multitasking abilities to drive critical issues simultaneously.
5. Resourcefulness, commitment, interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills..
