Role Summary/Purpose

The Valve Assembler is responsible for new assembly, calibration, and diagnostics of Masoneilan control valves and instruments, associated paperwork, valve diagnostics, digital control technology and the associated instrumentation.
Essential Responsibilities

In the role of Valve Assembler, you will:

·  Assemble, calibrate, and run diagnostics on new valves

·  Perform measurements with: torque wrenches, dial calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators

·  Apply advanced math skills to verify critical dimensions

·  Provide account manager support by phone and email

·  Complete preventative maintenance on department equipment

·  Inventory management, customer training and focus on building and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships with product divisions may occasionally be required

·  Perform other duties as required
Qualifications/Requirements

·  High School Diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution

·  Minimum 2 years of experience working with control valves in oil & gas

Eligibility Requirements:

·  Read and interpret documents such as master schedule, safety rules, operating instructions, drawings/prints and procedure manuals

·  Work overtime, weekends and holidays, as required

·  Work in a constant pushing, pulling, lifting, stretching, bending and other physical activities

·  Be in the shop environment a minimum of 8 hours per day, primarily standing and sitting, as required

·  Lift, pull and push of up to 50 lbs., manually transport a load up to 75 lbs. and apply up to 100 lbs. of torque

·  Be subjected to extreme heat for extended periods of time

·  Work in extended periods of mental concentration working with mechanical and electrical equipment requiring constant safety focus

·  Work within a climate controlled manufacturing facility with occasional work performed in a covered, outside area
