Role Summary/Purpose
Lead efforts across GLS (Global Legacy Solutions) for Treasury activities, with particular regard to FX remeasurement, bank account relationship and governance matters, and intercompany loan processes.
Essential Responsibilities
· Partner with business and corporate treasury across multiple functions to manage remeasurement exposure through hedging or other actions, analysis and facilitation of equity cash transactions (inc. dividends, capital injections, repayments of capital) and operational cash, intercompany operations and banking matters.
· Monitor and communicate P&L impacts in relation to Treasury activities, primarily hedge close outs.
· Own activities relating to intercompany settlement, reconciliation, and associated closing and reporting processes.
· Coordinate access to and usage of treasury systems such as Mypayments, MyTRS, etc.
· Drive outstanding level of bank account governance.
· Lead restructuring projects as and when necessary from a GLS (Global Legacy Solutions) finance perspective.
· Partner with simplification and integration teams to drive upstream efficiencies, transition knowledge for incoming businesses, and standardize/optimize associated processes.
· Partner with simplification team to drive infrastructure reduction including but not limited to bank account elimination, intercompany loan settlement, ME/LE reduction, process streamlining, etc.
· Supervise and coach/support team of direct reports, offshore GENPACT/Other, mentor analysts.
· Create and monitor appropriate metrics for owned processes.
· Liaise with other stakeholders across Capital businesses and functions, to support execution on above.
Qualifications/Requirements
· Bachelor's Degree or equivalent knowledge and experience.
· Extensive finance or accounting experience.
· Proven management skills.
· Demonstrated leadership experience.
· Experience managing projects.
· Demonstrated oral and written communication skills and ability to work cross functionally.
· Proficient use of financial systems and Microsoft Office (eg. Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Desired Characteristics
· Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification.
· Financial services industry experience.
· Public Accounting experience.
· Financial Management Program (FMP) grad or Corporate Audit Staff (CAS) grad or equivalent knowledge and experience.
· Significant years experience in GE controllership processes to date.
