The Test Technician position will be responsible for performing equipment's tests to ensure their reliability and functionality, support Engineering team during internal testing events, support clients' queries, prepare shipping documentation and strongly support the shipping process, evaluate inventory adjustments, oversee the assembly activities and others.

In the position of Test Technician, as a member of the Supply Chain team, within the Manufacturing team, your role will be to guarantee reliability of manufactured equipment by assertively performing equipment tests and ensuring on time deliveries in accordance with the values of Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.

What you’ll do

·  Perform Internal Tests in accordance with the global and local procedures to assure the quality, reliability, safety and compliance expected for GE Vernova Control Solutions & Services products.
·  Set-up, operate and monitor several supporting equipment associated with the testing requirements.
·  Oversee assembly phase to guarantee compliance with drawings and procedures. Interface with Engineering team as required to discuss all assembly/testing issues, questions and/or any possible improvements available.
·  Complete required documentation with accurate information during assembly and testing phases: Pre-Test Reports, Final Test Reports, Quality Reports and any other document required by customers’ specifications and/or internal and external procedures.
·  Support local and external certifications (INMETRO, UL, etc.) by working with Quality team. Provide any needed information and/or perform any tests required during the auditing process.
·  Maintain an organized Manufacturing area in line with 5S procedures. Support implementation and adherence to Lean procedures.
·  Support stockroom personnel with materials’ checking, traceability and counting before and after assembly/testing steps.
·  Work closely with Logistics team and be responsible to fill in Packing Lists during shipment processes. Guarantee assertive shipment of all BOM parts, whether assembled or as ship lose items.
·  Support Quality team with equipment’s calibration control.

What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)

·  Have bachelor’s degree in industrial automation, electrical or electronic engineering, or technical graduation in electrical or mechatronic from an accredited college or university.
·  Advanced and proved experience to read mechanical and electrical drawings and specifications.
·  Some experience in control panels’ electrical tests.
·  Some experience working with manufacturing/assembly of control panels.
·  Relevant experience working with control panels shipment processes: packing lists, materials checking, inventory, etc.
·  Intermediate/advanced and proved experience with ERP System - SAP®

·  Previous experience with GE Vernova CSS testing equipment (e.g.: ADR).
