Job Description Summary

Engineering Technician assists engineers in development and manufacturing by performing a variety of technical tasks. Engineer technician works with blueprints, build prototypes, conduct test execution, technical documentation, and analyze data, oriented to a specific engineering field. Their role is crucial in translating theoretical concepts into practical applications and ensuring the quality and efficiency of engineering projects.
This role acts as a key liaison between Production, Engineering and Quality to support process stability and implementation of new technical procedures.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Perform process validation tests under engineering supervision.

• Assist with metallographic sample preparation, destructive and non-destructive testing.

• Monitor and record critical process parameters in accordance with work instructions and technical specifications.

• Support internal and external audits (customer, NADCAP) by preparing documentation and evidence.

• Perform minor equipment adjustments with proper authorization.

• Collect process data including production performance, scrap, and key metrics for statistical analysis.

• Assist in implementing process changes, continuous improvement activities, or new product introductions.

• Maintain and update technical files and controlled documentation (work instructions, Planning, tech plan, etc.).

• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Required Qualifications

·  Minimum 6 months of experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
·  Associate Degree in Engineering.
·  Alicona Machine Knowledge.
·  English Advanced.
·  Intermediate knowledge of special processes.
·  Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and industry standards (e.g., AMS, ASTM).
·  Experience with measurement tools and lab equipment (metallography a plus).
·  Familiarity with quality tools (5S, FMEA, 8D, SPC) is a plus.
