We are seeking a passionate and experienced individual to join our team as an Instructor. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience working with or on gas turbine engines and possess a strong understanding of quality related subjects. This role will involve developing and delivering comprehensive training programs to ensure our team is proficient in the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of gas turbine engines and related procedures. The instructor will play a critical role in maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency in our operations.

GE Aerospace Engine Services Malaysia (GEESM) in Subang plays a vital role in ensuring the safety and performance of aviation fleets every day. Established in 1997 as a Center of Excellence for CFM56 engines, GEESM has grown into a key hub of our global operations. It now services commercial aircraft engines, components, and accessories.

Role Overview:

·  Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs related to gas turbine engine maintenance by the company, as well as quality-related subjects such as Use of Technical Manuals, Basic Shop Practices, Human Factors, and Safety Management Systems (SMS).
·  Create training materials, including manuals, presentations, and hands-on exercises to support learning objectives.
·  Conduct classroom and practical training sessions for new hires and existing employees.
·  Assess trainees' performance and provide feedback to ensure understanding and proficiency.
·  Stay updated with the latest advancements and best practices in gas turbine engine technology and MRO procedures.
·  Ensure all training programs comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
·  Maintain training records and track the progress of trainees.
·  Foster a culture of continuous improvement and safety within the training programs.
·  Ensure adherence to company procedures and regulatory requirements in all training activities.
·  Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will be someone who has an eagerness and passion to be a technical trainer and someone who has an understanding of gas turbine engine and experience in MRO. The ideal technical trainer will have a good communication, presentation skills and energetic.

Required Qualifications:

·  Minimum of a Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering or related field.
·  Excellent communication and presentation skills.
·  Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
·  Minimum of 3 years of working experience with gas turbine engines or similar.
·  In-depth knowledge of gas turbine engine technology, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting techniques such as LEAP, CFM, or similar engines.
·  Strong understanding of company procedures and regulatory requirements in the aviation industry.
·  Familiar with Learning Management Systems and able to use them as one of the training platforms.

Preferred Qualifications:

·  Experience in delivering training or possessing a Train The Trainer (TTT) Certificate will be an advantage.
·  At least 5 years of aviation experience.
·  Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage, understand, and connect with trainees.
·  A passion for teaching and mentoring.
·  Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
·  Flexibility in adapting training methods to different learning styles.
·  A proactive and innovative approach to training and development.
