The Technical Project Manager is responsible for IT project implementation across multiple interdependent software applications and projects within a program. Part Project manager and part Technical Product Owner; the role involves managing the entire technical project lifecycle from initial ideation, through software design/development to daily operational management/support.

Roles and Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

·  Define requirements with business, functional and technology partners
·  Shape multi-year project strategy to deliver expected outcomes
·  Set project execution methods and management practices
·  Build internal and external teams based on scope, budget and timeline
·  Manage daily execution across multiple interdependent projects
·  Coordinate project delivery and track shared outcomes
·  Remove roadblocks and manage dependencies across teams
·  Manage risks, scope changes and non-standard project events
·  Communicate progress to stakeholders, leaders and executives
·  Ensure deliverables meet quality and stakeholder expectations
·  Track benefits, service levels, customer satisfaction and lessons learned
·  Complete financial reviews and maintain budget tracking

Requirements:  

·  Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar, with strong relevant experience
·  Proven ability to deliver business value through project management
·  Knowledge of project and portfolio management methods
·  Excellent written and verbal communication skills
·  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
·  Change-oriented and able to balance competing priorities
