Role Summary/Purpose

.Partner with one or more GE business units on their ERP Programs to understand and map business process and ERP and associated applications footprint to identify testing opportunities. Work on functional testing strategy. Drive acceleration by delivering speed & efficiency through innovative solutions and precise execution. Support the COE initiatives to advance into Digital Thread.
Essential Responsibilities

Provide Oracle ERP subject matter expertise.
Intake of Manual test cases, take KT on the custom test case functionality from Busiiness
Have depth in understanding tables and fields pertaining to the test cases
Take Training on relevant Tools and continue training on ongoing updates
Write test plan for the test cases in scope for the functional area/ module
Schedule test execution cycles
Prepare test data and liaise with functional SME for test data
Validate test environment and liaise with technical team as necessary
Execute planned and ad hoc executions
Perform defect triage operations
Manage and maintain new and existing test cases
Perform test coverage analysis
Explore optimization of test cases and coverage
Perform cross module test integration activities working with other functional testers
Test results reporting and dashboard
Document test collateral and deliverables
Test metrics management

Qualifications/Requirements

Graduate Degree.
Minimum 5 Years of work experience in Industry pertaining to the Oracle EBS/Fusion Financials modules
Good understanding of Project Management, ITIL, Testing principles
Good understanding of business process optimizations like LEAN, Six Sigma
Cross Module exposure for end to end functional alignment
4+ years experience in implementing Oracle EBS or Oracle Fusion with strong technical/functional expertise , previous experience working in a complex oracle ERP environment and intermediate knowledge in several other modules and expertise in at least 2 modules in the areas of   Finance/Tax/Accounting/Procurement.
Desirable -- 2+ years’ experience leading or working independently in test phases of a large ERP implementation.
Desirable -- 1+ years’ experience in customer/client facing role –experience in estimation, presentation and providing consultation on industry practice
