Role Summary/Purpose
Ensure supply chain compliance with ISO9001/14001 and OHAS18001 standards and in compliance with GE Grid solution supplier Quality Policy.
Essential Responsibilities
Develop Supply Chain with PES Sourcing and LCM's.
Approve all purchase parts in line with Alstom Supplier Quality Requirements , to include the following activities :-
(This list is not exhaustive)
• Parts approval submission process
• Supplier approval, including process approval
• Acceptance criteria.
• Supplier advanced production quality planning,
• New product introduction/ approval
• Supplier development
• Supplier Quality re-enforcement
• Knowledge of continuous improvement techniques 5S, root cause analysis, lean, 6 sigma.
• Utilisation and implementation of DFMEA , PFMEA, PPAP etc
• Product Inspection and witness inspection, to include inspection criteria.
• Management of Corrective action system and material returns
• Analyse problems, report and follow up for resolution or initiate preventive
• Audit Management ( pre selection, classification, process )
Desired profile
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelors degree (Engineering degree would be advantageous) or equivalent knowledge and experience
Certified lead auditor certification or working towards

• Experience in Supplier Quality function
• Ability to work with cross functional, cross cultural teams
• Good communication and presentation skills

• Time management skills
• Supplier audit & approval
• Product qualification
• ISO 9001/ISO 14001/ OHSAS 18000 knowledge
