Role Summary/Purpose

The person's task is to assure quality, control the costs within the assigned budget, complete the work efficiently and within the project schedule, quality assurance (QA) and delivers all other contractual requirements. The employee is the technical leader of his crew and has the required know how on installation activities. The employee is responsible for the preparation of the assembly method and for the planning of the installation.

Essential Responsibilities

·  Coordinate the work on site with the customer and the other contractors

·  Plan the detail installation works in an orderly sequence and ensures, that there are adequate labor, tools and other resources available to complete the work on time.

·  Manage and supervise the contractors.

·  Enforce the quality control to ensure that all works are carried out in accordance with the instructions, specifications, standard norms, quality guidelines and contractual obligations.

·  Responsible for the safety of personnel on site by implementing company safety rules, local rules and regulations in cooperation with the customer and the other contractors

·  Preparation and checking of Q-records in accordance with the inspection and test program and the contracts and send them to the Design Leader

·  Support document control on site. Ensure that the latest revision of drawings “release for construction” and documents are always used on site.

·  Issue and execute NCR reports

·  Clarification of technical problems and modifications in co-operation with the Project manager, Design office and Team Leader Site

·  Have knowledge of the contract by the working content description (including delivery limit)

·  Apply all means available to fulfill the contract, detect deviations and implement corrective actions with respect to time, quality, safety, health, environment and cost issues.

·  Participate in site meetings and project meetings (by phone if not possible by office)

·  Monitoring of cost, quality and on time delivery of site activities and report in agreed intervals to the Project Manager

·  Keep daily logbook with all relevant information regarding problems, work tasks, improvements, contractor behavior, schedule delays, working time, etc. (active support in order to avoid claims).

·  Keep record of all purchasing made from site.

·  Arrival reporting weekly to Purchaser & Logistician

·  Responsible for the feedback of experience to the home base.

Desired profile

Qualifications/Requirements

Technical High school or similar.

Experience Requirements

·  Several years of experience in installation of Generator

·  Detailed product & process know-how of the Generator

·  Cost and quality oriented

·  Administrative skills

·  Ability to structure project and isolate/analyse problems

·  Strong communicator as well as negotiator

·  Leadership skills
