Role Summary/Purpose
Responsible for test creation testing a large module or a large component and designing a feature, set of features, or whole feature area. Works independently and contributes to the immediate team and to other teams across business.
Essential Responsibilities
Responsible for test creation and implementation of large module or large component and design of set of features or whole feature area. Own large sized quality engineering tasks or small projects and deliver Quality Engineering (QE) artifacts. Develop and enhance the test infrastructure and continuous integration framework used across teams. Determine testing best practices and principles and promote them across the organization. Use test automation techniques (data driven, pairwise, mocking, and test hooks) that fit the problem space. Provide functional and technical expertise in bug diagnosis and fixes. Develop and execute maintainable automation tests for acceptance, functional, and regression test cases.
Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in STEM major (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) and 6 years of progressively responsible post-Bachelor’s degree related experience. Alternatively, employer will accept a Master’s degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in STEM major (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) and 4 years of related experience.
· Position also requires 2 years of experience with MS SQL and Oracle databases, including design and querying capabilities; test automation; and developing and executing test plans and test cases for acceptance, functional and regression testing
· 1 year of experience with Scrum methodology for software development process.
