Role Summary/Purpose

This position will be working on multiple projects in network infrastructure as a technical expert or internal consultant.
Essential Responsibilities

In this role you will:

·  Be a technical expert who provides oversight, mentors team members, and leads large delivery efforts. 
·  Be responsible for driving the design and development efforts related to architecture, scalability, availability and performance in alignment with the network product/service roadmap. 
·  Define and contribute to the network infrastructure architecture governance model. 
·  Collaborate with software engineers in the development of network software, data, and technology. 
·  Lead impact assessment and decision related to technology choices, design/architectural considerations and implementation strategy. 
·  Be the subject matter expert in technologies and methodologies with ability to adapt and improvise. 
·  Research and evaluate emerging network technology, industry and market trends to assist in project development and/or operational support activities.
Qualifications/Requirements

Basic Qualifications:  

·  Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) and 2 years of professional experience in Network Infrastrure OR A GED with a minimum of 6 years of professional experience in Network Infrastructure OR a Master’s degree in a relevant discipline
