Essential Responsibilities
Manage build, release, continuous integration (CI), and continuous delivery (CD) processes for software product releases. Develop and enhance the test infrastructure and CI framework used across teams. Determine best practices and principles, and promote them across the teams. Develop and execute automated builds and scripts. Work with developers and stakeholders to deliver quality software through the build and deployment system. Partner with and provide direction to fellow team members to diagnose bugs and formulate solutions. Use industry best practices to improve build, release, continuous integration, and continuous delivery processes.
Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in STEM major (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics)
· 8 years of progressively responsible post-Bachelor’s degree related experience. Alternatively, employer will accept a Master’s degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in STEM major and 6 years of related experience.
· Position also requires 3 years of experience with software configuration management and release engineering using build automation tools (i.e., Jenkins); Linux; Java programming language; JavaScript; operating in an Agile-Scrum software development environment; defining workflows for build and release process; and software development life cycle.
