Role Summary/Purpose

Join us to help improve the lives of our busy healthcare workers. Work on a product line that aims to implement the best practices of staffing, scheduling, time, attendance, and patient assignments. Proper staffing/scheduling ensures that our healthcare workers are well rested, and that hospitals have the right person for the right job at the right time.
Essential Responsibilities

·  Work closely with design team and product owner in
translating user research and product requirements into simple and intuitive
designs
·  Comfortable working with remote team members and scrum teams
·  Participate in design reviews and share design iterations as
they transpire with team members
·  Give and receive feedback from other team members including
PM, developers and fellow designers
·  Driven towards continuous learning and seeking validation
·  Ability to conceptualize product goals, functionality,
design direction and overall vision
·  Capable of designing concrete ideas, experiences and
interactions
·  Iterating on your designs based on data, not opinions

Qualifications/Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

·  Bachelor’s Degree in Interaction, Graphic, or Industrial
Design preferred or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering, and
Math)
·  Minimum 2 years’ experience but typically 5+ years

Eligibility Requirements:

·  Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will

Desired Characteristics

·  Experience working on mobile and web applications
·  Experience using Axure and Balsamiq
·  Experience working on a product & design team at a
medium to large organization
·  Experience working with remote team members
·  8+ years of experience
·  Ability to convey concepts through wireframes, flows and
mockups
·  Ability to effectively communicate design decisions to team
members and project stakeholders on a regular basis
·  Able to handle a primary project and 1-2 smaller occasional
projects (as the arise)
·  An understanding of front-end code (HTML, CSS, Javascript)
and responsive web design (RWD) – you do not need to be an expert or even
practicing, just have an understanding
·  Become familiar with product style guide, component/pattern
libraries, and product branding
·  Skilled at information architecture, taking complex
information and presenting it in an orderly fashion
·  Ensure delivery of the customer experience always maintains
the highest levels of functional quality and customer ease-of-use
·  Portfolio or work samples of past professional experience –
must include work process for Interaction Design not just Visual Design Partner
