Join our mission to keep the skies safe and our fleet flying! We are seeking a passionate and dedicated LRU Field Support Expert to be the advocate for our customers in the field. As the LRU Product Support Engineer, you will be the Hardware Owner, responsible for the in-service reliability of GE Line Removable Units (LRUs) for the LEAP-1A/B/C engines.
In this dynamic role, you will be at the forefront of minimizing potential customer operation disruptions due to in-service issues. You will develop Service Bulletins, initiate and participate in Technical Reviews, Quick Market Intelligence (QMIs), Cluster Calls, and PCBs. You will also present technical communications to airframes and airlines, ensuring the accuracy of technical publications such as the Engine Maintenance Manual, Aircraft Maintenance Manual, Service Bulletins, and Component Maintenance Manuals.
As a leader in field problem resolution, you will drive containment and corrective actions implementation. You will work closely with Engine Systems Design and Integration (ESD&I), Life Cycle Engineering, the Product Reliability team, and more frequently with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs - LRU vendors) to solve, investigate and anticipate field problems.

Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
· Execute the analysis/evaluation of assigned projects that meet business standards, practices and procedures and the product/program requirements.
· Recommend and guide approach to meet the technical and program requirements.
· Formulate and implement plans to achieve technical requirements, schedules and contract commitments.
· Develop action plans to anticipate and respond to field problems.
· Set the rhythm of Root Cause Investigations.
· Manages different LRU vendors to track in service reliability of assigned LRUs
· Provide technical guidance to other personnel and assigned teams; mentor others in the organization.
· Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with industry and government regulations, engineering policies and procedures.
· Monitor and communicate project status, business issues and significant developments to internal and external customers such as Airlines and Airframes.
· Lead or participate in organizational efforts in assigned projects and/or tasks.
· Participate as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviews.
· Participate as a presenter in customer technical reviews.
· Work collaboratively with Design and repair teams to monitor, maintain and improve product stability and reliability including execution of complex programs.
Required Qualifications
· BS degree.
· In-depth knowledge of Electrical of fuel Systems.
· Field Support, Design, or Manufacturing experience on aviation engine components/modules/systems.
· Experience on Engine hardware or Components, and/or Engine Systems troubleshooting.
· Working knowledge of airworthiness regulations.
· Demonstrated horizontal leadership skills and the ability to guide and influence others inside and outside the organization (LRU vendors).
· Demonstrated business technical written and oral communication skills in English.
· Ability to communicate with Senior Leadership.
· Experience on presenting technical topics to internal and external stakeholders.
· Experience on Aircraft Line Maintenance and Failure Analysis / resolution methods.
Desired Characteristics
· Established project management skills.
· Experience on Reliability analysis and Weibull distribution.
· DR one over one reviewer.
