Role Summary/Purpose

Focus will primarily be for ongoing Vulnerability Management in the Middleware/Web technologies and End Of Life obsolescence, implementing strategies for remediation and coordinating effort across the GE businesses Will drive an initial program to reduce the number of aged vulnerabilities, then implement an ongoing product management/operational life-cycle May be viewed as a sub-business or regional subject matter expert; is an expert in the discipline.
Essential Responsibilities

·  Works with cross functional teams and cross-business teams and is responsible for driving VM remediation solutions across the function / business.
·  Communicates broadly across the direct organization and with partner Digital organizations and business units within the company

·  Evaluates existing and emerging risks and trends and provide necessary guidance to help improve overall compliance

·  Facilitate a metrics and reporting framework to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of the program, facilitate appropriate resource allocation, and increase the maturity of the security.

·  Influences engagement and decision making with internal and external parties.

·  Negotiates with external parties and has influence over terms and conditions.

·  Communicates solutions across the Risk & Compliance function and with cross-functional partner organizations and GE Businesses.

·  Presents product / program strategies, technical roadmaps, risks, and recommendations to senior leaders (EB and SEB) within Risk & Compliance and to senior Risk leaders across GE
Qualifications/Requirements

·  Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a STEM related Degree

·  Minimum 8 years experience in Information Technology and Risk & Compliance

·  Minimum of 4 years’ experience leading and managing teams

·  NET Skills: C# 4.0/3.5/2.0/1.1, ASP.Net 4.0/3.5/2.0/1.1, WPF, WCF, Winform 3.5, Silverlight 5.0/4.0, ADO.Net, Web Services using .NET, MVVM, MVC, LINQ, VS .NET 2010, VS .NET 2008

·  SQL Server 2008/2005/2000.

·  Experience leading agile delivery teams in a product delivery model

·  Experience taking vision to strategy and leading execution and delivery.

·  Deep understanding of technical risks and tactics of advanced cyber threat actors

·  Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment with limited direction

·  One or more Security Certifications or equivalent (CISSP, etc.)

·  Demonstrated thought leader, delivering new, supporting innovation solutions to exceed customer expectations

·  Excellent interpersonal, written / verbal communication and leadership skills with the ability to quickly build credibility, influence and make recommendations to all levels
