Role Summary/Purpose

Responsible for development and execution of automation scripts for simulator tools and test tools. Develop Automation for the virtual simulator and contributes to the team and works with direction from management; guide and plan the automation next steps, increasing the ability to work independently. Works independently and together with team and delivers outputs and use case creation which meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project.
Essential Responsibilities

• Development and execution of automation scripts
• Contribute towards planning and defining next steps for automation
• Development and support of Automation Framework
• Experience in Vmware/Horizon VM/ Virtual Box
• C and C++ hands on experience
• Minimum 1 year experience in dynamic System Modeling in Matlab/Simulink.
• Understanding of Real Time Operating System like RT-LINUX/UNIX/QNX based systems.
• Experience in developing automated scripts using Perl/python.
• Understanding of Communication Protocol like ARCNET/CAN/RS-232/Ethernet.
• Involve in development of tools and automation of Regression test cases for the existing features.
• Demonstrates increasing expertise in application domain and functional areas.
• Applies various testing types and methodologies effectively during SDLC.
• Takes ownership of small tasks and deliver without supervision while using their discretion to seek help when necessary.
• Applies principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile and Development/Testing Techniques.
• Begins to collaborate with development team in bugs fixing and build plans.
• Skilled in core data structures and algorithms.
Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
• A minimum of 6 years of professional experience
