Role Summary/Purpose

This individual will work cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and finance to achieve the performance/financial objectives for solar Sites/Portfolio. The Solar Asset Management Associate role will monitor commercial / industrial scale solar projects across the United States. The role will include responsibilities for financial, O&M, and support tasks necessary to ensure optimal performance of individual commercial solar projects and portfolios.
Essential Responsibilities

This individual will generate performance and service reports, alert detection and diagnostics; perform first level troubleshooting where needed, supervise service dispatch, warranty claim management, production guarantee administration, response time guarantee supervision, incentive management and performance analysis as needed. Other tasks and responsibilities may be added according to the needs of the team. 

Including but not limited to: 

·  Provide oversite and direction on Asset billing, collections, Expenses, project accounting, financial reporting 
·  Daily Monitoring of all Assets  
·  Identification and categorization of remote issues and response times 
·  1st level troubleshooting of known issues (remotely and field visits) 
·  Manage Performance reporting requirements (internal and External) 
·  Management of customer issues as they are reported 
·  Contract management (identification and tracking of Post COD responsiblities) 

·  Managing all incentive base credits including sale of RECs for assets. 
·  Coordination of site access and protocol with customers 
·  Overall Asset issue tracking and resolution

Qualifications/Requirements

·  Strong technical background 
·  2+ years in a technician role monitoring, servicing and troubleshooting electrical equipment. 
·  Electrical Print reading 
·  Proficiency in MS office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel) 
·  Strong oral and written communication skills 
·  Strong interpersonal skills 
·  Strong work ethic be a self-starter and work with little to no supervision 
·  Strong electrical, electronic, communications and mechanical troubleshooting skills required 

·  Experience with using plant control and monitoring systems to diagnose plant problems and monitor site daily performance 
·  Must have a valid state driver’s license and clean driving record. (example, no DUI in the last 5 years)

Desired Characteristics

·  Electrical Safetey training 
·  PPE and Lockout Tagout training 
·  Experience working with DAS and other communications equipment, wiring topologies, configuration, troubleshooting and associated protocols such as Ethernet, RS-485, Fiber, etc. 
·  Electrical Print Reading 
·  Proven analytical capabilities - both qualitative and quantitative 
·  Comfort working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment 
·  High degree of attention to detail 
·  Strong computer skills and the ability to quickly learn new software platforms

Work Environment 

·  In addition to desk work in an office environment, this position will occasionally require working in all elements and extreme environments depending on job location, time of year, heat, cold, rain & snow 
·  May need to occasionally perform work at various heights using ladders, bucket trucks, scaffolding, catwalks, aerial lifts or other safe working platforms.
·  Be willing and able to climb ladders, stairs, work on rooftops and able to work on your feet for long periods of time 

·  Working safely around high voltages and currents 
·  Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including hard hat, safety shoes, and safety glasses when at job sites or performing tasks that require it. 
·  Repetitive use of legs, arms, hands and fingers 
·  Be willing to work occasional weekends, and overtime as required
