Role Summary/Purpose
The Software Engineer, Front-End Developer will work with the customer, product owner, UX (User Experience) designer, and development team to implement user interfaces. This includes JavaScript, CSS, HTML and any other client facing technologies, such as Angular, Node and Bootstrap.
Essential Responsibilities
In the role of Software Engineer, Front-End Developer you will:
· Develop web-based applications
· Be responsible for mentoring and performing code review of junior programmers
· Lead coding, testing, documentation, implementation, and maintenance of information technology solutions for business processes
· Work with other front end developers to define best practices and processes around user interface development
· Collaborate with US, near-shore, and offshore based team members to deliver software solutions
· Implement detailed functional and technical specifications required to satisfy business requirements
· Provide functional and technical documentation
· Develop proof-of-concepts and prototypes of easy to navigate user interfaces (UI) that consist of web pages with graphics, icons, and color schemes that are visually appealing
Additional Eligibility Qualifications

Desired Characteristics
· Working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, AngularJS, Polymer, BackboneJS, EmberJS, KnockoutJS and latest JavaScript standards
· Have experience in basic cross browser support, caching and optimization techniques
· Have experience in developing consumer facing web applications using Ajax
· Experience in building reusable UI components
· Experience with responsive design and implementation
· Agile & SCRUM development experience
· Experience in Test Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior Driven Development (BDD)
· Experience with effort estimation and project planning
· Experience building cross-browser high performance solutions
· Experience building and scaling Web-based solutions
· Photoshop skills
· Strong communication and time management skills to collaborate with product managers, developers, and QA engineers
· Familiarity with test frameworks for unit testing like Selenium, Jasmine, jUnit, Protractor etc.
