Role Summary/Purpose
The Frontend developer will work with the customer, product owener, and development team to implement user interfaces. This includes Javascript, CSS, HTML and web frameworks: AngluarJS, ReactJS, Polymer, Bootstrap, etc... You will be a member of an integrated team working to deliver successful outcomes around automation, software development, and the predix platform. Ideal candidates will have some UX design experience as well.
Essential Responsibilities
· Lead coding, testing, documentation, implementation and maintenance of IT solutions for business processes
· Work with other front end developers to define best practices and processes around user interface development
· Implement detailed functional and technical specifications required to satisfy business requirements
· Provide functional and technical documentation
· Develop proof-of-concepts and prototypes of easy to navigate user interfaces (UI) that consists of web pages with graphics, icons, and color schemes that are modern and visually appealing

· Experience with analytics frameworks
· Portfolio examples of Fluid and Responsive web design / development
· Demonstrated experience developing animations, understanding of motion and interaction design
· Strong Debugging/Troubleshooting expertise
· Semantic markup w/HTML5/CSS3 and related front-end technologies
· Object-oriented JavaScript including use of JQuery[UI]/Touch/Angular/Node/Backbone
· Good Knowledge on many technology frameworks: Java, Python, Spring, MVC, AngluarJS, Polymer, ReactJS, NodeJS, NGINX, Apache, SOAP/REST webservices
· Expert level Knowledge of development tools and integrated build systems: Eclipse, Jenkins, Maven, Automated testing
· 3-5 years experience with Javascript
· 2+ years experience with AngularJS/Polymer/ReactJS
· 2+ years experience unit testing
· 1-2 years experience with NOSQL databases
· 1-2 years experience with relational databases
· 2+ years experience with CI system to automate builds
· Experience with Photoshop/Sketch/Invision or other relevant UI/UX prototyping tools
· Working knowledge of configuration management tools: GIT
· 1+ years web development expertise with modern frameworks: AngularJS, Polymer, ReactJS
· Experience with NodeJS
· Experience with NGINX
· Experience with Polymer
· Experience with Mobile development: Android/iOS/hybrid
· Working knowledge of responsive design concepts and frameworks

· Demonstrated ability to work effectively across functions in matrixed environment

· Ideal candidate will have experience presenting effectively to non-technical audience
· Strong analytical skills – strong problem solving skills, communicates in clear and succinct manner, and effectively evaluates information/data to make decisions.

Basic Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Systems, or Information Technology (OR High School diploma/GED with 2+ yrs of IS, IT, CS experience)
