Role Summary/Purpose
The Quality & Customer Fulfillment Manager role oversees the safe receipt, storage, retrieval and timely distribution of aircraft parts for our GECAS Asset Management Services warehouse located in Memphis, TN. This position provides overall leadership in driving our Quality customer fulfillment processes & procedures, operational excellence, customer service, compliance, security and environmental, health and safety of our employees.
Essential Responsibilities
· Manages receiving, warehousing, shipping, and distribution of aircraft parts for the Memphis Customer
· Fulfillment center
Provides leadership in the areas of staff selection, performance management, training and development of all warehouse employees
· Partners with stakeholders to ensure AMS exceeds our customer expectation every time, every day
· Partners with EHS to implement and enforce established procedures and to ensure proper training of all warehouse personnel
Ensures processes and procedures for the Memphis warehouse are in compliance with ISO 9001 2015 and AS9120 Rev. B
· Ensures inventory integrity by processing material into our Inventory Control System (ICS) and indicates each movement in the system until the product is eventually dispersed
· Ensures cost efficiency of materials needed for shipping and storage of inventory
· Ensures the most cost effective and efficient shipping methods are utilized
· Ensure processes, work instructions and forms are kept up-to-date and posted to the document management website
· Accommodates and assists internal and external auditors with verification of inventory and established ISO procedures
· Manages competing priorities and fluctuations between projects and personnel
· Processes parts to be scrapped upon return from repair facility or customer
· Coordinates with IT department on new programs and system improvements to increase efficiency and streamline operations
Interfaces with all areas of the business (Acquisitions, Inventory Management, Repairs Management, Sales, Accounting, Compliance & HR) to affect fulfillment initiatives and improve overall customer satisfaction
· Responsible for compliance to the AMS Quality Management system for customer fulfillment includes: AMS Quality policy & objectives, Quality assurance and control for warehouse and logistics
· Policies and procedures implementation
· Corrective and preventative actions requests through the Quality Management System
Qualifications/Requirements
· Bachelor's degree (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 3 years of experience in supervision and warehousing/relevant experience)
· Ability to interface effectively with all levels of the company as well as external customers and regulatory agencies
· Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
· Highly motivated, confident, able to work without direct supervision
· Ability to work well in a team environment and to perform under pressure/against tight deadlines
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
Desired Characteristics
· Three years aviation experience preferred
· Knowledge of GE policies/procedures
