The D&S/P&AT Section Manager will be responsible for strategizing and executing business priorities across D&S/P&AT Section. The candidate will provide strategic leadership and technical guidance to the organization, including goal setting, talent selection, development and deployment, as well as establishing and applying strategies to achieve business goals.
Job Description
Responsibilities
·
Lead the team in executing D&S/P&AT Section projects using sound engineering principles while adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product/program requirements.
·
Adopt FLIGHT DECK principles to provide leadership and oversight for the D&S/P&AT section, ensuring product design and safety requirements (SQDC) are met across programs.
·
Foster a One Team environment where both dotted-line and solid-line team members are equally engaged and motivated.
·
Collaborate across teams- programs, engineering sites, and organizations to understand business-wide priorities and allocate resources effectively.
·
Establish organization program plans with clear timing and resource allocation for the section and support groups to meet or exceed business objectives and goals.
·
Develop robust engagement strategies and operating rhythms to ensure the successful execution of business commitments.
·
Encourage talent growth by taking positive actions to support pyramid growth, technical development across the domains of Mechanical, Electronic, Systems and Software, and improve interpersonal skills.
·
Promote a strong culture of technical excellence, disciplined execution, and commitment to employee growth.

Proactive engagement addressing emerging customers’ needs to grow the team contribution to the business
Qualification / Requirements
·
BS/MS in Engineering from an accredited university or college.
·
Experience in an engineering function, including leading cross-functional teams.
·
Proven People Leaders experience in leading different Sub-Sections.
·
Proven ability to develop talent: demonstrated experience in mentoring, coaching, and growing individuals and teams to achieve their professional goals.
·
Change agent with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
·
Passion for engineering excellence, demonstrated through actions and outcomes.
·
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate ideas and address customers, teams, and stakeholders.
·
Strong understanding and application of FLIGHT DECK principles and outcomes.
·
Global engineering mindset, demonstrated through experience working with both local and global teams.
·
Fluent in Polish and English

Prior experience in managing complex programs: designing and developing new products and resolving in-service product-related issues.
