Job Description Summary

Remanufacturing Electrical Specialist will be responsible for disassembly, inspection, repair and assembly of electrical and electronic components. He/she will report to the Reman Operations Leader.

Essential Responsibilities

In addition you will:

·  Be able to perform standard electrical assembly procedures, perform rework, and repair of electrical components and systems to drawing specifications.
·  Perform Test Run of the repaired components and electrical assemblies.
·  Maintain proper handling of GE tools and equipment, including Test Benches.
·  Possess thorough knowledge and ability to use all tools associated with assembling units per required specifications:
·  Soldering precision Tools
·  Hydraulic and electric Torque tools
·  Other Tools included but not limited to impact drills, magnetic drills, basic hand tools (manual and pneumatic)
·  Measurement Tools.
·  Expert in electrical assembly (continuity testing, electrical wiring…) as required on the job
·  Read and understand electrical layout, engineering drawings
·  Follow all EH&S guidelines and policies
·  Follow good environmental practices and waste management procedures.
·  Segregate waste in the pertinent containers at the Repair Hall.
·  Support RCAs and NCRs resolutions.

Qualifications/Requirements

·  Electrical or Electronics School Diploma
·  Minimum of 2 years of experience working in Repair Shop or electronics company.
·  Expert in electrical soldering and boards assembly.
·  Training on pitch control software.
·  Expert in testing protocols for electrical components
