Job Description
Essential responsibilities
- Manage the company NCR system, provide management reports and drive the actions with the required stakeholders to resolution, By known quality tools as Kaizen/RCA/8d/5why etc.
- Carry out product and process audits.
- Creation of project and manufacturing control plans
- Ensure that control plans and associated documentation are implemented effectively and maintained through the lifecycle of the project.
- Monitor and report quality related KPI’s including Scrap/Rework levels/First time yield with dedicated manufacture and chain weekly quality Gemba’s.
- Promotion of zero defect and stop the line culture.
- Ensure compliance and assist with the QMS (ISO9000:2015).
- Participate in cross-functional teams to aid development and identification of risk on new projects/processes inclusive of using an FMEA approach.
- Meet with customers during project meetings and final inspections and can provide and prepare reports and presentations to support these meetings.
- Be flexible in approach and time management to allow tasks to be completed to support the project timelines.
Skills and Attributes:
- Be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of quality systems and measurement tools and techniques.
- Knowledge of Advanced Quality Planning (APQP), Part approval processes (PPAP), Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA)
- Lean Manufacturing knowledge, VSM, Gauge R&R
- Understand engineering drawings (electrical and mechanical) and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of NATO standards AQAP2105/ 2110 etc.
- Knowledge of Microsoft programs such as: MS Word, MS Excel, Microsoft Power point and Microsoft Outlook.
Qualifications and Experience Levels:
- Relevant business/commercial or manufacturing/engineering degree preferred, or HNC, or equivalent NVQ level 4 qualification
