Key Responsibilities:

·  Perform thorough visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products according to specifications, blueprints, and quality standards.
·  Document inspection results, identify non-conformances, and initiate corrective actions in collaboration with engineering and production teams.
·  Operate and maintain various inspection tools and equipment, ensuring their calibration and proper functioning.
·  Participate in root cause analysis of quality issues and contribute to the development of preventive measures.
·  Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on quality processes and suggesting enhancements.
·  Ensure parts, materials and processes comply with all relevant industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality management systems.
·  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality discrepancies and improve product quality and manufacturing efficiency.

Essential Requirements:

·  High School Diploma or equivalent qualifications / experience, preferably with a technical focus (e.g., Mechanical or Electrical).
·  Sole British citizenship with an ability to obtain national security vetting clearance to SC level.
·  Proven experience in a quality control or inspection role, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
·  Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
·  Proficiency in using various measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
·  Applicants must be UK Nationals and possess or be eligible to obtain SC (Security Check) Clearance.
·  Availability to work fully on-site at our business site in Rugby, Warwickshire, UK.
·  The role requires no travel.
·  Strong understanding of first principle measurements and geometrical tolerances.
·  Experience using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) such as FARO, Mitutoyo or similar.
·  Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to inspection tasks.
·  Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for documenting findings and collaborating with teams.
·  Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-have qualifications:

·  Technical certification in quality control, inspection, or a related field.
·  Experience with ISO 9001 quality management systems.
·  Familiarity with non-destructive testing (NDT) methods.
·  Basic understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
·  Experience with quality management software.

This role involves work for customers who manage critical infrastructure; based on customer requirements it will be necessary to carry out background checks and suitability assessments (UK BPSS clearance OR UK SC clearance) as part of the hiring process.
