Role Summary/Purpose

As part of a small inspection team, you will be responsible for the inspection & verification of components supplied into the Groby site.
Using various inspection equipment & working to BHGE drawings & procedures, you will ensure purchased parts from various suppliers around the world conform to the required BHGE specified standards before the parts are released into the Stores & Production units.
Essential Responsibilities

• Inspection of CNC machined components using hand held measuring tools & gauges.
• Inspection of pre-formed sheet metalwork & plastic moulded instrument cases.
• Visual inspection of electrical items, PCB’s & sub-assemblies.
• Verification of material documentation & associated certifications.
• Updating the SAP computer system.
• Support ongoing improvement opportunities within the department.
• Support the Goods Receiving Process for Purchased Parts from Suppliers.
Qualifications/Requirements

• Ideally have experience in a Quality or Manufacturing Inspection role.
• Ideally have experience of working with Inspection equipment.
• Ideally understand technical drawings for piece parts & assemblies.
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
