Role Summary/Purpose
Current, powered by GE (Daintree Networks) is seeking a keen and enthusiastic engineer to join its highly skilled QA team. Working out of our Mulgrave Office in Melbourne, you will become part of a team of engineers working on our cutting edge building energy management solution, ControlScope. You should be enthusiastic about technology and have a passion about quality and making sure that the products in front of you perform to the high standards that GE (Daintree) expects.
Essential Responsibilities
• Working in a small team to produce robust solutions on a large scale
• Creation of Test Plans and Test Cases
• Creation of automated tests including working on the automation test environment and framework
• Execution of tests and generation of test results and issuing test reports
• Implementing improvements to our processes and test infrastructure
Desired profile
Qualifications/Requirements
• Strong previous experience working in a QA or test role
• A strong passion for working in a QA role and creating quality products
• Experience testing web applications and SAAS
• Development or testing experience in a Linux environment
• Experience with Test Automation, in particular Cucumber
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Must hold an appropriate Tertiary Qualification
• Must be eligible to work in Australia

• Experience testing hardware and software products including embedded devices
• Experience working in an Agile team, in particular SCRUM.
• ISTQB Certification
• Knowledge about working with Test Driven Integration
• Good knowledge of networking protocols (Eg. ZigBee, IP, HTTP, SOAP)
• Experience in programming (Eg. /Java/Python/Javascript)
• Experience working in an Agile team, in particular SCRUM.
