Essential Responsibilities:

· 
As a Project Finance Manager, you will drive financial management of Hydro projects, reporting to the Head of Project finance managers in North America and working in close cooperation with Project Directors. Scope: varied portfolio of Hydro projects in North America: large & long-term, medium-sized, services-oriented projects;

· 
Responsible for Project’s P&L and Balance Sheet, responsible for main project indicators (sales, margin, reserves), tracking Risk & Opportunities Includes regular reporting to regional finance organization, HQ and Head of Operations, managing the quarterly financial closing for his/her project portfolio in accordance with US GAAP, reconciling variances between Actuals and pacing.

· 
Preparation of financials for quarterly project reviews: update of cost at completion estimates, in partnership with project director and in close coordination with functions’ respective finance teams;

· 
Owner of billing activities to external and internal customers, in accordance with contractual requirements;

· 
Monitoring FX risk trough different Legal Entities & functional currencies, partner with HQ Treasury department to identify and mitigate risk.

· 
Support to external or internal auditors audit

Required Qualifications:

· 
Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting. 

· 
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a finance related role. 

· 
Hands-on approach and autonomous.

· 
Strong analytical skills.

· 
Willingness to challenge existing processes, problem solving.

· 
International experience in multinational firm and a matrix organization is a strong advantage.

· 
Strong oral and written communication skills in both Portuguese and English. French is a plus.

· 
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. 

· 
Ability to influence others and lead small teams. 

· 
Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact. 

· 
Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously. 

· 
Effective problem identification and solution skills. 

· 
Proven analytical and organizational ability.

· 
Good knowledge of MS office tools 

· 
Prior experience with PMx (SAP) 

· 
Knowledge Project Finance accounting
