Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

·  Manage the buying process for a given set of goods according to GE Vernova corporate standards and sourcing policy
·  Interface between supplier and entity with respect to specifications and budgets
·  Manage relationships with suppliers for PO execution
·  Focus on execution of standard enabling activities / provision of advice subject to policy and work routines within an enabling discipline
·  Manage problems and schedule changes
·  Update ERP system
·  Resolve issues in situations that require good knowledge and judgment within established procedures
·  Consult more senior team members for issues outside of defined policy / parameters
·  Develop strong customer relationships and serve as the interface between customer and GE Vernova

Required Qualifications

·  Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college combined with relevant work experience, preferable in the Sourcing & Buying-Procurement
·  Good understanding of key business drivers from a corporate/matrix work environment to accomplish own work
·  Very good written and oral English skills
