Role Summary/Purpose

Responsible for supporting margin expansion across key Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) projects within the Subsea Product Systems (SPS) and services business.
Essential Responsibilities

·  Drive analytics on Project margin expansion, Cost buckets drivers etc.

·  Work with cost control team to drive and connect savings into the margin reviews

·  Engage with the Standard cost and the functional cost teams to drive standardisation actions

·  Support identification of potential margin expansion themes

·  Support incremental cost out through idea generation, data analytics, benchmarking analyses, and audit reviews, run deal specific collaboration rooms

·  Coordinate initiatives across cross functional teams including Project Management, Product Management, and Cost Catalogue teams to bring competitiveness

·  Substantiate documentation and cost assumptions on critical cost inputs

·  Support definition of margin targets by Product initiative and drive scale to other projects

·  Support reporting of margin expansion initiatives financials every month to SPS&S

·  Support coordination of weekly operating reviews to track progress towards margin targets, cost out on deals and to monitor risks and opportunities. Such operating reviews will involve relevant Commercial and Execution teams
Qualifications/Requirements

·  Effective communication across all levels of staff and management (both written and oral)

·  Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent knowledge and experience

·  Some work experience, Microsoft skills

·  Ability to manage ambiguous tasks independently and decisively

·  Excellent project management skills

·  Excellent problem-solving mindset

·  Ability to handle multiple priorities and to meet tight deadlines

·  Ability to facilitate meetings with several stakeholders

·  Ability to lead and influence cross-functionally

·  Strong functional background in engineering or sourcing
