Production Shop Floor Support for Digital, Hardware, Software, Infrastructure and users.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

·  Own IT operations for the manufacturing site, focusing on shop floor systems and applications
·  Ensure performance, reliability, and availability of site IT infrastructure and applications
·  Serve as the Site IT lead and member of the shop leadership team
·  Implement the site IT/digital roadmap and drive continuous improvement
·  Partner with business leaders to understand IT needs and influence technology decisions
·  Manage Digital Workplace technologies (end-user devices, collaboration tools, etc.)
·  Deploy, manage, and support shop floor PCs and related hardware
·  Support printers, MFPs, on-site A/V, and telecommunications equipment
·  Provide on-site support for networking infrastructure
·  Coordinate infrastructure work and upgrades with central IT/DT teams
·  Participate in lean, cost-saving, and technology refresh/obsolescence projects
·  Respond quickly to cybersecurity threats and support security best practices
·  Escalate IT/DT issues impacting production and provide on-call support as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

·  Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 2 years of professional experience OR Associates degree with minimum of 5 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 7 years of professional experience
·  Minimum 2 years of IT support or infrastructure experience (manufacturing or industrial environment preferred)
·  Experience supporting PCs, printers, and basic network infrastructure
·  Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
·  Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical users
·  Comfort working in a fast-paced, production-focused environment
·  Collaborative mindset and ability to work across departments and teams
·  Willingness to learn new tools and technologies and drive change
·  Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience
