Essential Functions & Responsibilities (definition of job):

· 
Conduct visual and mechanical inspections from blueprints or specifications with strong attention to detail, using proficient measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and depth gages.

· 
Perform basic electrical training, hot water leak test certification, and pressure testing as required, along with basic preventative maintenance tasks like hot water leak and Veeco testing.

· 
Utilize knowledge of mechanical inspection tools and work with fulfillment and management personnel to expedite customer demands, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.

· 
Conduct basic mechanical/electrical setups and testing on assemblies/materials and collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers/technical support to resolve discrepancies.

· 
Acquire certifications in weld, braze, and structural solder inspections, and demonstrate proficiency in dimensional aptitude through comprehensive training and interpretation of drawings, quality procedures, and specifications.

· 
Review, update, and complete detailed documentation for archival per quality requirements, accurately complete Material Discrepancy Reports (MDR), and interpret documents for marking and serialization per customer requirements.

· 
Cross-train within the department, support manufacturing operations across departments and product lines, train less experienced team members, and perform other duties as assigned, while adhering to safety regulations and maintaining the ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Required Skills / Qualifications:

· 
Actively participate in a team environment that utilizes lean and 5S practices to improve products and processes, while demonstrating an understanding of basic inspection requirements.

· 
Possess a High School diploma or GED, along with basic Microsoft Office and ERP skills.

· 
Exhibit basic math skills and proficient measuring skills to ensure accuracy and quality in tasks.

· 
Demonstrate basic troubleshooting abilities and mechanical skills as required for various tasks.

· 
Maintain basic written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and document processes.

Desired Qualifications:

· 
Ability to perform basic test equipment preventative maintenance as required

· 
Basic knowledge of electrical components and test methods as required

· 
Basic knowledge of AS9100/Quality System requirements
