Job Description Summary
Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials (from suppliers and within departments) according to production schedules. Facilitate the flow of material to meet customer requirement and promises. Work with cross function team including engineering and operations to develop and implement action plans to close gaps in delivery to build plans.
Job Description
Responsibilities :
· Know and understand build plan and formulate and own action plans to ensure build plans can be met. Lead change over conversations based on build plan, and work to close gaps to ensure timely delivery. Ensure attainment tracking is correct based on build plan.
· Know and understand complete program supply chain for assigned programs.
· Create and maintain monthly output plan in conjunction with business leaders each month.
· Understand inventory transactions, labor vouchering, part routings and count points. Perform inventory actions necessary to maintain system accuracy.
· Maintain final ship plan and outside process ship plan.
· Enter accurate commits to customer via AMT system. Review AMT comments from corporate fulfillment and add comments in AMT on customer critical material weekly.
· Communicate relevant information to back shifts daily to ensure plans are maintained including any get well that is needed for previous rate misses.
· Communication with both direct and indirect sourcing as needed to ensure build plan can be maintained.
· Input router changes into Oracle to ensure part flow.
· Understand errors on the interface and be able to correct errors to ensure part flow.
· Identify aged inventory in the system and own action plan to clear parts in conjunction with operations and sourcing.
· Perform cycle counts as required including pre cycle counts to ensure accuracy of the BOM and detail pull. Identify gaps in cycle counts and incorporate Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA).
· Incorporate all aspects of Flight Deck to help drive the business to success.
Qualifications/Experience:
Computer literate, including Excel, Word and Oracle (will be evaluated).
Organized, ability to multi-task, outgoing and personable.
Ability to work side by side with a greater team to problem solve.
Must be familiar with manufacturing shop floor and able to interact effectively with supervision and production associates.
Willingness to work overtime as business needs.
Competent in basic math / algebra (will be tested).
Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, toward established daily goals.
Associate will have a 6-month period to establish acceptable performance in new classification.
Self-motivated.
Team player with production control (fulfillment), manufacturing, planning and sourcing teams.
