Roles and Responsibilities
Use engineering principles to troubleshoot, repair, replace power plant equipment. See full gamut of designing, applying, installing, commissioning, and maintenance.
Monitor plant thermal performance and condition-based maintenance via computerized performance monitoring system and other testing, including a mix of office and field work.
Evaluate major plant repair, upgrade, or improvement options, conduct cost benefit analyses. Develop implementation plans, materials, tooling, and procedures for selected solutions.
Maintain a positive, productive work environment that promotes productivity and teamwork.
Respond to emergency callouts to assist in plant operation and troubleshooting.
Available for occasional overtime, especially during plant inspections / overhauls.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering or applied science from an accredited university or college.
Three years progressively responsible experience in power plant, marine, industrial industries or equivalent.
Desired Characteristics
BSEE or BSME with some advanced technical coursework required.
PE desirable.
Possess or ability to obtain general engineering contractor license.
Demonstrated capabilities in:
Leadership and management
Environmental and safety compliance
HR compliance
ASME pressure vessel codes
Accounting and finance
Project management
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.

For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is $86,600-$144,400 USD Annual.
The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This Senior Professional Band position is also eligible for A Variable Incentive (VIC PW ) Bonus of 10%.
*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
