Role Summary/Purpose

Oracle ERP is the strategic business platform for GEHC. This role requires a person with prior experience in Oracle ERP architecture, design, development, deployment and familiar with Supply Chain modules. In this role, you will be part of Global Oracle ERP DevOps team who has the end to end ownership of the ERP platform for GE Healthcare business. You will be hands-on on ERP solutioning, design, development, customization, deployment and works on multiple projects as an Oracle ERP Architect
Essential Responsibilities

Essential Responsibilities:
Serve as a Oracle Techno/Functional Architect with focus on the Oracle ERP finance application technologies. Implement solutions leveraging standard Oracle applications technology to drive simplification and reusability. The scope includes Oracle COE supported applications, which include multiple Oracle ERP systems (Oracle EBS R12).

In this role, you will:
• Ensuring architectural compliance of solutions and introducing recommendations for changes to reference models when needed
• Assist in the remediation of application stability and performance
• Perform project level design, debug and performance analysis
• Perform product evaluations, and Proof of Concepts'.
• Work across multiple projects and systems to develop, communicate, and mentor others on design and implementation standards, guidelines, best practices
• Lead detailed design. Ability to read code and perform code reviews will be a plus, though not a pre-requisite.
• Ability to influence project teams to maximise the utilization of Out of Box Oracle ERP Functionality
• Be responsible for all stages in the DevOps cycle, with specific focus on design and architecture in the Product in the areas of OTR and Oracle EBS R12 standard modules of finance ( GL, AP, AR, FA) among other supply chain modules and related customizations, extensions and bolt-on applications
• Be responsible analyzing PL/SQL code, analyze data by running queries on Oracle EBS R12 database
• Determine feasibility of business User's request functionality and business rules based on Oracle ERP functionality.
• Ability to create and present key requirements artifacts without direct supervision.
• Ability to work with business teams and IT teams located across time zones to architect and deliver solutions on Oracle EBS R12 and related technologies
• Write, review, and critique Use Cases and detailed specification of key business rules
• Create Process flow diagrams, Business Process Mapping Diagrams and Documentation Application Gap analysis.
• Researches development in assigned technology, determines business requirements, proposes changes, develops migration and implementation plans, and may execute projects based on these activities
• Provides input into the technology plan for the IT organization
• Ensures that plans for assigned applications integrate effectively with other aspects of the technical infrastructure
• Advises management on application and supporting technology purchases and on future projects or environment upgrades/modifications
Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Info Systems, Engineering, Science or equiv & 5 yrs. of progressive post-Bachelor’s related experience, or, Master’s degree in Info Systems, Engineering, Science or equivalent & 2 yrs of progressive post-Bachelor’s related experience
• Experience in Oracle ERP (R12.x) with full-cycle implementation experience
• Release R12 implementation experience in the following modules: Oracle Finance ( GL, AP, AR, FA)
• PL/SQL, SQL Skills, ability to read and query Oracle tables, knowledge of Oracle API’s and Interface tables.
• Strong functional understanding of OTR, distribution, fulfillment business processes and industry best practices in these areas
• Extensive knowledge of systems analysis and design, and modelling.
• Experience in designing global, large-scale applications, which span multiple countries and business units
• Ability to work across multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Analytic, creative and business-focused problem solver
• Ability to communicate and interact with supply chain managers and business analysts
Desired Characteristics

.Technical Expertise:
• Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle process (SDLC)
• Knowledge of Oracle products, specifically Oracle EBS ERP version 12+ and underlying database(s)
• Extensive knowledge of operations processes including incident, problem and change management
• Project management experience is a plus
• Should be able to use a pace layering approach to increase the return on investment in the existing ERP implementation
• Expertise in implementation of Supply Chain modules in Oracle ERP including Order Management, Advanced Pricing, Shipping, Inventory, Work in Process, Bill of Material Configurator, Oracle Purchasing, iProcurement, iSupplier, ASCP
• Green Belt certified
• Experience in the Healthcare industry and or any other Manufacturing/ service company
• PMP/ITIL certified
