Role Summary/Purpose
We have 7 vacancies in total that require the successful applicants to work either Nights or Days/Afternoon shifts The positions will be part of the direct operations support team. The applicants will be expected to support production as part of a large team working in chemical & abrasive cleaning, preparation areas and blast processes.
Essential Responsibilities
• To produce engine components through numerous special process functions controlled by the OEM (Overhaul Engine Manual) & SPM (Standard Practices Manual)
• To deliver a quality product on time to internal and external customers
• To ensure production flow is maintained at all times
• To work in accordance with the company's quality procedure: European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Part – 145 requirements
• To follow strict EHS guide lines in all aspects if shop floor safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
• To liaise with internal departments to ensure effective processes are used in a timely manner which supports their operations
Desired profile
Qualifications/Requirements
At least one in the following technical requirements
• Knowledge of Chemical Cleaning Process and abrasive Blast Process Techniques
• Knowledge of Thermal Spray preparation
• Knowledge of plating and acid etch techniques
Other Requirements
• Effective Communication skills
• Good team player with flexible approach and effective interpersonal skills
• A responsible / self-motivated person, willing to make decisions
• Computer literacy skills, ideally with experience of windows based packages

Desired Characteristics
• Previous experience in the Aircraft industry
