Job Description Summary

Lawyers and non-lawyers providing leadership and oversight to business operations to assure adherence to all aspects of internal company and external regulatory compliance. Insures appropriate mechanisms are in place to comply with relevant laws and regulations, and adherence to corporate programs and practices. Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team. Focused on execution of standard enabling activities/provision of advice subject to policy and work routines within an enabling discipline. There may be some latitude to rearrange the sequence to complete task/duties based on changing situations.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

Regulatory Compliance & Internal Legal Advisory

·  Serve as the internal legal reference on subcontracting and specialized services matters across all business areas.
·  Identify, assess, and communicate legal and regulatory risks to process owners, proposing timely corrective actions.
·  Stay current on legislative changes in labor, tax, and social security matters, translating their impact into internal processes.
·  Provide legal guidance and advisory to process owners and new team members.

Review & Drafting of Specialized Services Contracts

·  Review, draft, and negotiate specialized services agreements, ensuring their correct structure in accordance with the subcontracting reform and current regulations.
·  Verify that contracts executed with specialized vendors include the required regulatory compliance clauses (REPSE accreditation, IMSS/INFONAVIT obligations, joint liability retention, among others).
·  Coordinate with Legal, Finance, Sourcing, Procurement, HR and Operations teams for the correct contractual formalization of specialized services both contracted and rendered by the company.

Document Management & Compliance Control

·  Design, implement, and oversee the document management processes required for monthly compliance before clients and authorities.
·  Manage the document repository for all information related to subcontracting, specialized services contracts, and quarterly reports submitted to authorities.
·  Monitor the timely delivery of information with the document management vendor and track performance through control dashboards.
·  Identify and analyze documentation deficiencies reported by the document management vendor, communicating findings to the responsible areas for resolution.

Reporting & Regulatory Obligations

·  Execute the mandatory quarterly reporting before IMSS and INFONAVIT, capturing required information in the corresponding systems (ICSOE and SISUB).
·  Coordinate and manage the mandatory annual audit process with the external auditor, ensuring timely submission of the audit report.

Audits & Government Relations

·  Coordinate responses to government requests, audits, and inspections by regulatory authorities (STPS, IMSS, INFONAVIT, SAT) in subcontracting matters.
·  Audit and support the regulatory compliance of specialized vendors, verifying that they correctly fulfill their regulatory obligations.
·  Serve as the liaison between internal functional areas and regulatory bodies.

REPSE Registration — Maintenance & Correct Operation

·  Ensure the correct operation and validity of the REPSE registration through continuous and timely fulfillment of all associated obligations.
·  Coordinate the renewal process of the registration certificate with the relevant functional areas, ensuring no interruptions to the registration's active status.
·  Manage, where applicable, the obtainment of new REPSE registrations in line with the evolution of the company's business lines.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

·  Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Legal, or any related degree strongly preferred.
·  3+ years of law, regulatory compliance, labor law, social security, or corporate law.
·  Proven experience in REPSE processes: registration maintenance, quarterly reporting, and mandatory annual audit.
·  Experience in IMSS and INFONAVIT audit processes.
·  Background in energy, construction, engineering, EPC, or manufacturing sectors, desirable.

Languages

·  Intermediate to advanced English required — written and verbal communication with global teams.

·  Detail-oriented with strict adherence to regulatory deadlines.
·  Document management platform proficiency — experience using digital tools for the control, tracking, and administration of regulatory documents.
·  Multifunctional team management and coordination — ability to engage and align personnel across different business areas (Legal, HR, Finance, Operations, Project Management).
·  Analytical capability to identify legal risks and propose practical solutions within complex corporate environments.
·  Experience in multinational corporations or matrix organizational structures, desirable.
