Job Description Summary
The role of the Production Leader at the CVG On Wing Support (OWS) location is to provide production and shop leadership to activities associated with the On Wing Support business unit in Florence, KY. Additionally, the Production Leader will drive the development and facilitation of Flight Deck strategies and continuous improvements for the site.

Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
·
Responsible for the safety and welfare of all direct reports.
·
Responsible for continued compliance to Regulatory agency requirements.
·
Management of training plans and authorizations of all technical staff.
·
Performance management of the technical team - Setting and reviewing priorities, coaching technical staff, and executing Performance Improvement Plans and Disciplinary procedures as required.
·
Resolving production problems, recommending operational changes, assessment of risks and surge manpower management to meet demands.
·
Management of labor utilization of the direct workforce - to include demand forecasting and trend analysis.
·
Maintaining and further developing a good working relationship with OWS CVG Customers, Customer Team, and other local stakeholders.
·
Manage the flow of products through the shop, working with the Materials & Logistics team to optimize inventory in support of TAT and cost control.

Establish and maintain visual management tools and methods across the site
·
Assist in work cell and product flow design and implementation.
·
Responsible for the development and implementation of production Flight Deck initiatives for the site and driving a lean culture of continuous improvement.

Facilitate, train, and coach team members in the fundamentals of Flight Deck, applying the tools to improve process capability and eliminate defects
Minimum Requirements:
·
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college and 3+ years of manufacturing leadership experience (or a minimum high school diploma / GED with an additional 4+ years of manufacturing leadership experience).
