Job Description Summary
The NC/CNC Programmer duties include reading and interpreting design blueprints, programming the CNC machine, and adjusting the machine settings until the desired specs are met. This person will work with the production and quality teams to make sure proper build books are created in a timely manner to meet production needs.Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
- CNC Programming
- CAD/CAM experience
- Help develop shop tooling and procedures
- Work on developing build books
- Read and interpret blue prints
- Work with engineering to improve overall shop process
- Give hourly EE’s technical guidance
Required Qualification:
- Associates Degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university (OR High School Diploma / GED plus a minimum of 3 years working in a manufacturing environment)
- Minimum 1 year of CNC programming experience
- CAD / CAM experience

- CNC Programming experience in both traditional and macro

- Strong organization skills and attention to detail
- Proven Leadership ability
- Strong problem-solving skills, sound judgment, initiative, and creativity
- Strong interpersonal, communication, influencing, & organizational integration skills
- Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Engineering or Business
- Green Belt or Black Belt Certification or equivalent Quality certification

This position is 100% onsite at GE Schenectady Plant
Pay Transparency:
The weekly pay range for this position is $1,035.34 - 1,612.76. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Expected close date from career site is Dec. 3, 2024 or once a contender identified or when filled.
*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
