Job Description Summary
The Quality Assurance Specialist - Major Component Upgrade (MCU) Team is an integral part of the NAM MCU Team. This role focuses on ensuring the quality and reliability of major component upgrades, with a specific emphasis on Core 100, quality reports, and main bearing brush checks. The specialist will work hand-in-hand with NAM Operations and NAM Project Managers to maintain high standards throughout the upgrade process.
Job Description
· Quality Reports:
· Generate and maintain detailed quality reports for major component upgrades.
· Analyze quality data to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement.
· Present quality findings and recommendations to project teams and management.
· Main Bearing Brush Checks:
· Conduct thorough inspections and tests of main bearing brushes as part of the upgrade process.
· Ensure that main bearing brushes meet specified performance and reliability standards.
· Document inspection results and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
· Core 100 Quality Assurance:
· Oversee the quality assurance processes for Core 100 components during upgrades.
· Develop and implement quality control plans and procedures for Core 100.
· Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to address any quality issues related to Core 100.
· Team Collaboration:
· Work closely with NAM Operations and NAM Project Managers to ensure alignment of quality goals with project objectives.
· Participate in project meetings and provide quality-related insights and recommendations.
· Support cross-functional teams in achieving project milestones and deliverables.
· Process Improvement:
· Identify opportunities for enhancing quality assurance processes and procedures.
· Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives within the MCU Team.
· Stay updated on industry standards and regulations related to component upgrades.
· Stakeholder Communication:
· Keep stakeholders informed of quality status, issues, and improvements.
· Manage expectations and ensure that quality concerns are addressed promptly.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
· Proven experience in quality assurance, preferably within the technology or manufacturing sector.
· Strong knowledge of quality control processes and standards.
· Experience with generating and analyzing quality reports.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
· Proficiency in quality assurance tools and software.
Desired Characteristics
· Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $72,400.00 and $108,600.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
